Commander's Message:

Legionairs,

I would like to report on the status of our Post 1545 at this time.  Over the past year our members have been working hard to enhance our Post.

  •  a new museum
  •  new floor in the main hall
  •  upgraded all bathrooms with hand dryers
  •  upgraded lighting inside and out
  •  we have two new benches that are adjencent to our new honor brick display
  •  a new Eastport American Legion sign out front
  •  lastly, a CCRTV security system.

I would like to thank all members who have helped get our Post where it is now.  We will continue to enhance and upgrade our Post, it would be much appreciated if we could have more member participation.

I encourage you to attend our monthly meetings that are ALWAYS the first Tuesday of the month.  Dinner is at 6:30 and meeting starts at 7:00.

*** Any member needing a ride to the meeting it will be provided by the Post, call for arrangements to be picked up. ***
